It was a weekend of rock-climbing, fiery food, segway samples, and as many giveaways as you could fit into a free tote bag.

e-Travel Blackboard was on location as consumers and travel professionals met with some 150 exhibitors (and pocketed almost as many goodies) at this year¡¯s Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show held in the Santa Clara Convention Center.

Between posing for photos on Eaglerider¡¯s Harley and petting Mendocino County¡¯s Director of Barketing, Hairy Putter, attendees got the ¡®how-to¡¯ from authors Rick Steves and Patricia Schultz and burnt their tongues in the Fiery Foods Challenge.

Chef Babis Papadopoulos from San Francisco¡¯s Diamond Restaurant represented the Greek National Tourism Organization in the challenge which was emceed by actor, author and food aficionado Mark DeCarlo.
