Turkish Airlines began their anticipated non-stop service between Istanbul and Los Angeles on March 3, 2011, the first and ONLY NON-STOP SERVICE from the U.S. West Coast to Istanbul. Daily flights commenced on March 26, 2012. Two pieces of luggage are allowed for all passengers. Passengers will enjoy Turkish Airlines' exceptional service in Business Class, Comfort Class, with its unmatched value, and award-winning Economy Class. Turkish Airlines has one of the youngest fleets in Europe, featuring brand new Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft equipped with the latest technology.

Turkish Airlines boasts award winning Business Class service with full-flat seats. Business Class passengers enjoy up to thirty kg baggage allowance and are invited to the brand new Business Class Lounge where they can enjoy services such as phone, fax, TV, music, unlimited catering, local and international publications. For select long-haul flights, Business Class passengers enjoy first-class restaurant quality food prepared by one of Turkish Airlines' "Flying Chefs", a group of professionally trained chefs that prepare delicious international cuisine to order on each flight.

Turkish Airlines is pleased that the Los Angeles flights offer the new Comfort Class, which was introduced in late 2010. Comfort Class combines the affordability of Economy Class with the luxuriousness of Business Class. Every seat has an individual screen so passengers can enjoy TV series, feature films, games and music, all free of charge. Comfort Class also offers USB ports for passengers' personal USB devices or iPods.

Turkish Airlines' Economy Class has been awarded "Best Airline Europe" by Skytrax for 2011 as well as "World's Best Economy Class Treatment". Passengers who choose to fly Economy Class enjoy a wide range of delicious beverages and refreshments along with gourmet-style, exclusively prepared international cuisine.
