Southwest Airlines was feeling lucky on Friday the 13th

Traditional superstitions were cast aside by many passengers on Friday the 13th, who took advantage of Southwest Airlines low fares and great Customer Service.

Last week, on Friday the 13th Southwest reported that seats in row 13 were in high demand.

All black cats housed in appropriate carriers were welcomed aboard Southwest flights thanks to the carriers new Pet Fare.

The airline also announced that there would be no extra fees imposed for throwing salt over one's shoulder and that mirrors would be carefully packed in bubble wrap to prevent breakage.

It was pointed out that Southwest Airlines Bags Fly Free policy is far less scary than the fees charged by the competition for checked luggage.

Southwest Airlines revealed that many of its passengers were flying off to popular casino destinations, to boldly try their luck on the roulette table by betting on number 13.

Passengers breathed a sigh of relief when they were told that Freddy Krueger has long been on the TSA No Fly List, and that they were as likely to find a ladder aboard a Southwest flight as an elephant.
